Hey Dog Owner!
I know why you’re here.
You’ve got a problem with your dog. These problems can be anything from a having a new puppy and you needing support to basic manners for your adolescent or adult dog to just wanting to do more with your dog all the way through to extreme behavioural issues.
Some of the smaller stuff like jumping and pulling on lead can be embarrassing and frustrating. It’s not life changing, but it sure would be nice not to have to put the dog away when guests come over or for people to actually think, wow that dog walks beautifully with their owner, why can’t I do that with my dog?
Some of the bigger stuff is a liability. Even if it’s just sheer excitement from your dog wanting to get to another dog or person, the lunging and barking are enough to make you worried that someone could get hurt. Including you by being dragged into the road!
It may not even be any of the above and you may just want to learn more about your dog and how you can do more with them to help with mental stimulation.
Our mission: To give you as dog owners the tools you need to be able to cope with every eventuality your dog may throw at you with ongoing support. We want to educate and inform as many owners as possible about their dogs’ behaviour and teach owners how to read the dogs body language so that you can communicate with them in a way you both understand.
If you have a specific requirement that you can't see on this website, don't be afraid to ask - we've yet to find a doggie problem we can't solve!
Our Online Training programmes provide tailored support using video training sessions or consultations, sop now, you can train with Paw Education from your sofa, your garden… anywhere with an internet connection!

We have programmes that are sure to transform your dogs behaviour.
Ideally the more time we can spend with your dog the better.
We want to set you up to succeed, as your success is your dogs success 🙂
From our experience there are the following goals everyone wants to achieve with their dogs:
Being able to walk the dog on a loose lead, being able to visit dog friendly pubs/cafes/pet shops with the dog on a loose lead.
Not jumping all over guests in the house or strangers in the street. Great house manners inc no chewing, no toileting indoors or digging etc
Being able to take your dog to the park and no reliably that he’s going to come back to you when you call, even with distractions!
You’ve got this dog for many, many years! Having the best, trustworthy and enjoyable relationship is crucial.
Does this sound like something you want?
We get dogs. We can really help you drill down to the cause of the behaviour rather than just treating the symptoms. If your dog is struggling with any of the above, then rest assured we can get this sorted for you.
Changing behaviour takes time and dedication.
Want to learn more and understand why your dog may be displaying these behaviours and more importantly, what you can do to support them?
As a new mother myself I get it! Having two huskies, going through an entire building renovation and running my own business, all whilst being heavily pregnant, trust me, I get it!
That’s why I’ve developed a training programme which focuses on training your dog whilst being pregnant and then further developed into how to introduce and manage baby once they’ve arrived.
Name: Otis
Problem: I'm scared a lot
“We can’t thank you enough for all of your help with Otis ?
I’m sure we will see you again and we will keep you updated on our progress, especially with his new trick ?
Otis is a different dog from the first session we had with you- so much more confident and seems to trust us much more. We had other trainers and behaviourist tell us in the past that Otis’s nervousness was something we would just have to put up with, and we even had some recommend putting him on antidepressants! You proved to us that if you put in the time and hard work that you can change your dogs behaviour for the better and we are so grateful that you have shown us the tools to improve Otis’s life. Thank you! ??”
Name: Fidji
Problem: I've bitten my owner
“I had been bitten on my hands 4times, I was really desperate and was on the verge of sending him back. Fidji responded well, and after just 1wk I saw an improvement. Thank you very much Jo , if not for you Fidji would most likely reluctantly be back in Germany.”
Name: Astra
Problem: I'm a GSD
“I can honestly say i did not think anyone could change how Astra was behaving, but we are now seeing the transformation. Jo is an excellent trainer and a lot of knowledge and experience, I would recommend her to anyone” 🙂
Thank you Jo x!
Name: Thor
Problem: Barking
Absolutely loved this, Jo is fantastic and we have learned just as much as Thor has ?? I would highly recommend this training and we will be continuing with Jo for another 5 sessions start of next year. Can’t wait ? 10/10 on all aspects Jo taught
Name: George
Problem: Puppy Training
Soooo, after having my Olde English Bulldog puppy (George) for a few weeks, I decided it was time to get him some training. I had initially taken him to a dog socialisation and training class but something didn’t feel right about doing that…. I didn’t feel he was getting the time and 121 dedication he needed. The first session left me baffled as I expected it to be similar to how ‘other’ trainers train dogs…. nope, not Jo… after learning why she trains the way she does, it clicked and I got that feeling that Jo was going to be the one for my George. Well done Jo, I am absolutely over the moon with what you have done for me and George and I will continue to recommend you to everyone I know!!
And she certainly has impressed me… I have had the best training for my puppy, from probably the best trainer out there. Both George any myself have had an enjoyable time throughout the whole training experience which shows that learning can actually be done in a fun way (George responds better with this fun way), instead of following a strict, boring and regimented regime.
Name: Hector
Problem: Aggression towards guests entering house
Jo is amazing!
Session one; my grumpy dog Hector would not let strangers in the house, an hour of barking and lunges at her I thought no one could help me
After 4 sessions Hector walked in the house with her, sat with her on the sofa and did not make a noise at her!
He is calmer with strangers coming in the house and I can now invited friends over without having to worry about him.
Jo does more than teach you how to train your dog, but how to understand them. She is so approachable and calming when things don’t go the right way and if I ever need help with Hector or any other dogs in the future I will go to her first.
Thanks Jo!
Based in Solihull in the West Midlands, I am dedicated to providing positive and ethical dog training with an emphasis on behaviour.
I study tirelessly and I am forever researching what’s out there for dog owners and trainers to help the movement forward to positive training techniques and actually educating owners.
I attend as many seminars and webinars as possible, including those by Dr. Ian Dunbar, Linda P Case and attending the famous WOOF conferences.
My particular favourite are northern breed dogs. I own two Siberian Huskies; Laika and Axel and I have an avid fascination with dogs and the link to the wolf family. I spend as much spare time as possible also studying wolves and their tie in with the modern day dog.
So, whether you already have a dog, or are thinking about getting one, I can help you every step of the way; by giving them love, guidance and clear boundaries she’ll help you to help them become calmer, happier and more contented animals.
