Our mission: To give you as dog owners the skills and knowledge you need to be able to understand and train your dog.
We’re not your everyday dog trainer. We’re very different to your average expectation of dog training and how it’s run. We pride ourselves on being different and bucking the norm. Our programmes are for all dog owners who want to dramatically improve their dogs behaviour or to get their puppy off to a great start in life, by acquiring the skillset needed and knowledge required to teach dogs using force free methods.
We are all about increasing your awareness to the wonderful and complex world of dog behaviour – it is NOT about getting quick fixes.
So, if:
You’ve got a new puppy and want the best start for them
You want to understand why your dog is behaving a certain way
You’re not seeing results with what you’re currently doing
You want to be part of a community of likeminded people
You want a dedicated team to support you 24/7
You’re invested in long term results
You’re a geek like us and are fascinated by behaviour psychology
You feel like we’re a good fit for you
Then we want to hear from and work with you! 🙂
Our programmes ARE NOT for you if:
You’re after a quick fix
Just 1 or 2 sessions
Based in Solihull, West Midlands, I provide positive and ethical dog training with an emphasis on behaviour and doing better than we’ve previously done when it comes to training our dogs.
My home library is awash with dog behaviour books that I read and refer to regularly to ensure that I’m the very best that I can be to support you with your dog training needs.
I invest heavily in my continued professional development (CPD) and am constantly striving to do better, be better, and encourage a movement in the dog ownership world to shift our thoughts on how we train our dogs. I want people to truly have the skills to understand their dogs based on all the information we now have available to us through studies and evidence that can better influence our training relationships with our dogs.
My journey is a little different to Jo’s in that I actually started out with Jo as a client in 2018 with my Labrador, Thor.
Throughout the years of working with Jo I developed my passion for dog training and never expected to learn so much in a dog training programme than I did with Paw Education. I also loved the relationship that my family and I had developed with Jo that I can honestly say is nothing short of true friendship.
In 2021 there was an opportunity to join Paw Education as a trainee trainer and I jumped at the chance! Jo has and continues to put me through the paces to ensure I’m of a high enough standard to coach you as dog owners with your struggles.
I am accredited with Absolute Dogs as a Pro Dog Trainer and I continue to follow in Jo’s footsteps with continuous learning and courses.
